Two items: FDC with a cachet honoring the golden anniversary of US Air Mail, signed in black felt tip, “Jacqueline Cochran”; and a plate block of Amelia Earhart 8-cent stamps, 2.5 x 4.25, signed vertically in black felt tip along the left edge of the perforated panels. In fine condition, with lightly erased addressed on the FDC. Cochran and Earhart were friends and had flown together in competition. RRAuction COA.
