Patsy Cline

Popular and distinctive country-and-western “crossover” star (1932–1963) who achieved iconic status upon her death in a plane crash at the age of 30. Vintage 8 x 10 cardstock portrait of Cline wearing a white blouse, metallic vest and neckerchief, signed in blue ink, Many thanks, “Patsy Cline,” and signed again on the reverse in blue ballpoint, “Your friend, Patsy Cline.” Scattered creases and surface marks, several areas of staining to image side, primarily to edges and background, some light creases and toning to reverse, and small area of paper loss to one edge, otherwise very good condition. The portrait was taken at Lamp’s Photography in Winchester, Virginia, Cline’s hometown. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
