Description

Nixon graciously honors a collector’s request for a signed check

United Jersey Bank personal check, 8.25 x 6.5, filled out in type and signed by Nixon, payable to Bill Hongach for $1.00, February 26, 1990. A typed notation on the still-attached payment stub identifies the small payment as being for a “Hobby Collection.” Splendidly archivally double cloth matted with a color likeness and framed to an overall size of 16.5 x 24.25 by Gallery of History. In very fine condition, with brush to the “N” and a light crease to the stub not affecting the actual document. A unique response to an ‘autograph request’ from the year of the Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace’s opening. Oversized. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
