TR’s relationship with the GOP nears its end in 1911 as his presidential hopes remain alive

Astor Trust Company bank check, 6.5 x 2.5, filled out in another hand and signed by Roosevelt, payable to Leslie & Massee for $95.00, June 7, 1911. Impressively archivally double cloth matted with a modern-era engraving and framed to an overall size of 13 x 16. In fine condition, with vertical folds and expected cancellation holes not touching the signature. A nicely preserved check from the former chief executive a few months before his announced 1912 presidential election bid and the formation of the Bull Moose Party.
