Description

“There is a great change in Dolittle...‘Talk to the Animals’ I think will work very well with the little boy and I like the way the number has been stretched between dialogue”

ALS signed “Rex,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Ristorante Galeassi letterhead, February 24. Harrison writes “Leslie”—undoubtedly Leslie Bricusse, who wrote the Dr. Dolittle screenplay. In part: “I just felt that I must sit down and write to you about the first fifty pages which I was really thrilled with. There is a great change in Dolittle and I particularly liked the scene with the girl. ‘Talk to the Animals’ I think will work very well with the little boy and I like the way the number has been stretched between dialogue. Keep up the good work. I look forward enormously to the next batch.” In fine condition, with lower right corner crease, intersecting mailing folds with a vertical fold just touching his name, and a small area of soiling. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
