The most famous female impersonator of all time. His beauty caused him to be dubbed the Mr. Lillian Russell of his day. W. C. Men went into the smoking room.” Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 Lumiere photo of Eltinge wrapped in a leopard skin with a wreath of laurel in his/her hair, signed in fountain pen. In fine condition, with a diagonal crease to lower right corner, lightly affecting a couple letters of signature, a couple other light creases, and mild silvering along bottom edge.
