Three items: Personal check, 6 x 2.75, filled out in type and signed by Joe DeRita, payable to Montgomery Ward for $39.35, September 19, 1973; 5 x 7 glossy photo of Joe Besser dressed as a janitor, signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen, “To Dean, Best wishes always, Joe Besser”; and a black felt tip signature and sentiment, “Best wishes, Joe Besser” on an off-white 5 x 3 card. In overall fine condition with a few scattered creases and scratches to the photo, including a small crease through the inscription. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope from Besser postmarked August 8, 1964. RRAuction COA.
