TLS signed “Stan,” one page, 8 x 10, personal letterhead, November 29, 1962. Letter to friends Jennie and Jack. In part: “Note you didn’t hear from Alan King—its very possible he hasn’t recd. It yet. That must have been a pretty dull affair at the Babtist [sic] Church for you trying to get a ‘bun’ on with a cup of tea—next time have Lincoln figure out a formula to make ‘Scotch’ or ‘Burbon’ tablets, you can say they are saccharin!!…Trust you had a happy Thanksgiving, we had a little celebration…frankly I’m not too fond of Turkey, I prefer ‘Ocean Pheasant’ (a kipper with a feather in it!)” In fine condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, and some mild wrinkles.
