Alexander’s personal business card from his time with the Empire Buffet at the Empire Hotel Tap Room (Johnny Connors, Proprietor) in Springfield, Illinois, 3.5 x 2.25, signed across the front in green ink, “G. C. Alexander.” Card is affixed to an 8.5 x 10 photocopied sheet featuring an image of Alexander and Connors posing together in the restaurant in 1937 and several collector’s notations stating Alexander worked as a greeter at the restaurant.
