He earned the nickname “The Gray Ghost” for his clandestine and highly effective attack tactics. Ink signature, “Very respectfully your obt Sevt., Jno S. Mosby,” on an off-white card. Matted with a full-length portrait of Mosby, to an overall size of 14 x 11. In fine condition, with a couple trivial spots and creases, not detracting from overall appearance.
