Our Gang star best remembered for his wide-eyed double takes, and pigtails that would stand on end when he was “ascared.” He appeared in 93 Our Gang comedies over a ten year period. He dropped out of show business after his contract expired, and went on to work as a film technician for Technicolor. Scarce vintage matte-finish 5 x 7 photo of Buckwheat in football pads and a helmet, signed in fountain pen, “Buckwheat.” In fine condition, with some light silvering to bottom portion of image, and a few scattered light surface marks and impressions.
