Roger Peckinpaugh (1891-1977) served as general manager and president of the Cleveland Indians following his retirement as a player. Partly-printed DS, three pages on two adjoining sheets, 8.5 x 11, March 27, 1946. A uniform player’s contract for David Paynter for a salary of $500.00 a month plus bonus. Signed in black fountain pen by American League President William Harridge, and in blue fountain pen by Cleveland Indians president Roger Peckinpaugh as well as Paynter.
