Description

Harry S. Truman

US Senate Chamber pass, 4 x 3, March 22, 1945. Admitting the bearer “To the Vice President’s Row” for a session of the 79th Congress, completed in its entirety and signed in black fountain pen, “Harry S. Truman,” as vice president. In very good condition, with scattered mild to moderate creasing passing through his handwriting, including a few letters of his signature. Three weeks later Truman would ascend to the presidency.
