Letter regarding a declined invitation. In part: “My secretary tells me that your office was advised of my absence and unliklihood of my being able to get to Millville for the occasion. I should of course liked to have contributed my bit towards making this the success it undoubtedly was.” In fine condition, with office stamp to upper right, and a small notation below signature.
