Vintage 8 x 10 photo of Ruth taking a swing during practice for the Yankees, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To my good friends of the Whittier School, 7th Grade from Babe Ruth 1948.” Photo is affixed to a slightly larger board. A light protective coating applied over entire image, a bit of professional restoration to a few letters of inscription, scattered light surface marks, light border around image, but under protectant, a lightly trimmed right edge, otherwise very good condition.
