In part (loosely translated): “Yesterday I received enclosed letter to which I respond with a request that E[bert]. [The theater director and director Carl Ebert] with Busch [the conductor Fritz Busch] disputes and telegraph me the result of intelligent.” A mild shade of toning, and several rusty paperclip marks to left of signature, and a few light wrinkles, otherwise fine condition.
