Vintage matte-finish 5 x 6.25 deckle-edge photo of Picasso getting his cigarette lit by another gentleman, signed in the lower border in blue ink, “Picasso.” On the reverse of the photo, written in pencil in French, is the explanation by the original owner of the photograph of how it and other items were received from "P. Bertrand." In part: "Picasso and P. Bertrand - great friend of the painter it is through him that I have acquired all the Picasso signed pictures and post cards… It is to him that I owe the "Love.'” In fine condition.
