Amusing and uncommon glossy 8 x 10 photo of Wayne enjoying a steak and all the fixings during a lunch break on the set of The Green Berets, signed and inscribed in black felt tip “Dear Ted, You drove me out of the lunch room but ‘what the hell.’ Duke.” In fine condition, with a few light surface marks, small binder dings to left edge, and tape remnant along top edge on reverse. Ted Ashton, a Princeton graduate, began his motion picture career in 1947 in the publicity department at Warner Brothers. He soon became a unit publicist on many of the studios most successful films for the next 18 years.
