Harrison provides provisions for two French interpreters before signing the Treaty of Greenville

Boldly penned ADS, signed “Wm. H. Harrison, aide de camp,” one page, 7.75 x 4, July 10, 1793. In full: “The commissary will issue for two French Interpreters six complete rations.” Rough edges, a couple small pin holes, and scattered light toning, otherwise fine condition. Harrison, who was then serving as Anthony Wayne’s aide-de-camp, signed the Treaty of Greenville, ending the Northwest Indian War, on August 3rd. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
