TLS as president signed “Jimmy,” one page, 6.75 x 9, White House letterhead, March 18, 1977. Letter to Congressman Del Clawson. In part: “I appreciate your support for the delegation which has been sent to Hanoi to investigate the MIA situation. As you know, the delegation has been set for some time, and I made a decision not to include anyone who is emotionally involved in the issue, i.e, someone from an MIA’s family.” Accompanied by the original transmittal envelope. In very fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
