The King of France makes arrangements for his man to visit King Ferdinand

King of France from 1483 to his death. His invasion of Italy initiated the long series of Franco-Italian wars which characterized the first half of the 16th century. LS in French, signed “Charles,” one page, 8.25 x 9, August 6, [1491]. Letter to Ludovic Le More, the governor of Milan, requesting that he facilitate the trip of Mathieu Copula, who is travelling to see King Ferdinand I. Boldly signed at the conclusion by Charles. In very good condition, with three small holes to text, intersecting storage folds, and light edge soiling, heavier to right side. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
