Description

German physicist (1864–1928) who received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1911 for his discoveries related to his displacement law concerning the radiation emitted by a perfectly efficient “blackbody.” Publisher’s questionnaire filled out in ink and signed “W. Wien,” one page both sides, Ernst Heimeran Verlag letterhead, 5.5 x 8.75, March 31, 1925. Wien provides brief handwritten answers to five general questions. File holes, pencil notation to top right, and a bisecting horizontal fold, otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
