I have turned it over to Mr. Wickersham, who will have these matters immediately in charge.” Accompanied by the letter’s original mailing envelope. Also included are two unsigned items: an original Taft inauguration invitation (featuring beautiful engravings of Taft and his vice president and the original envelope) and an original March 4, 1909 Taft inauguration program. In very good condition, with bisecting horizontal mailing fold through signature, light spreading of type resulting in a slightly fuzzy appearance, several rusty paperclip marks to edges, and mild toning to center over signature.
