Slight, dapper character actor (1889–1958) best known for his portrayals of prissy, exasperated hotel managers, clerks, tailors, and professional men in films of the 1930s and 1940s. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Raymond Hill, Best wishes, Franklin Pangborn.” Scattered border creasing, and some light silvering along left edge, otherwise fine condition.
