Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 15.75 x 9.75, October 10, 1851. President Fillmore appoints Joseph W. Fusbur a “Marshall of the United States for the Territory of Minnesota.” Signed at the bottom in black ink by Fillmore, and countersigned by the acting secretary of state.
