Richard Willstatter

German chemist (1872–1942) who won the 1915 Nobel Prize for Chemistry for his research related to the structure of plant pigments, including chlorophyll. Short ALS in German, one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead, August 7, 1928. Brief letter to Ernst Heimeran. “In accordance with your wishes, I sent you separately today a copy of the P[eter] v. Halm'schen etching.” In fine condition, with bisecting mailing folds, a few wrinkles, and two punch holes to left edge. RRAuction COA.
