Vintage matte-finish 10.5 x 14 photo of an artist’s sketch of Roosevelt, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “For my old friend Herbert Bayard Swope, with my warm regards, Franklin D. Roosevelt (March ‘33).” Framed to an overall size of 11.5 x 15.25. In fine condition, with some light skipping to last name of signature, and a bit of trivial foxing to upper right. Herbert Bayard Swope (1882 -1958) was a U.S. editor and journalist.
