Pasteur seeks reimbursement

Pioneering French microbiologist and chemist (1822–1895) who demonstrated the germ theory of disease and developed the first vaccine against rabies. ALS in French, signed “L. Pasteur,” one page, 5.25 x 8.25, January 3, 1878. Letter to a colleague telling him that he did the commission of which was charged by him, all the works were shipped. He encloses a note of the expenses in order to be reimbursed. In fine condition, with bisecting mailing folds, with vertical fold through first initial of signature, and a light overall shade of toning. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
