Legendary organizer of the famed Flying Tigers TLS, signed “C. L. Chennault,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Civil Air Transport letterhead, dated September 10, 1951. Chennault writes about a dangerous experience during the war. In part: “I took more than one hundred Jap bombing raids—usually in the open so I could observe their tactical methods,” and accompanied by the original mailing envelope; and a vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen.
