Highly regarded American actor (1920–1966) best known for his Oscar-nominated turns in such classics as Judgment at Nuremberg, From Here to Eternity, and A Place in the Sun. Agreement between Clift and Paramount Pictures releasing him from his contract with the studio following the release of George Steven’s Academy Award-winning A Place in the Sun, stating “your employment agreement with the undersigned corporation…is hereby terminated by mutual consent.” Signed at the conclusion in black ink by Clift. In fine condition, with several tack and staple holes to left edge. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
