While “littered up with papers” Doyle searches for missing correspondence

ALS signed “A. Conan Doyle,” one page, 5 x 8, personal letterhead, no date. Letter to Mrs. Auley. In full: “If you should hear that it was sent to Stanstead you will, I am sure, let me know. I have an enormous correspondence & am littered up with papers—but it can’t be lost. So sorry to trouble you.” In fine condition, with bisecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, and some light mirroring of ink from premature folding. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
