ALS signed “Masaryk,” on the reverse of a 5.5 x 3.25 photo postcard, no date. Letter of thanks to a journalist in London. In part: “Thank you for your nice letter & the card from Dublin. Mr. Dvornik I expect to see soon…Your friend…it seems to me, begin to write about me with more respect to truth & more sensibly.” Masaryk also signs the image side of the postcard, “Tomas Masaryk, 3/1 ‘28.” Accompanied by a 1934 TLS from the president’s office, sending thanks for a letter concerning the president’s health.
