In full: “I ought to have answered your letter sooner, inviting me to meet the Cuyahoga Co. soldier on the 30th inst. I should be glad to do so; but I am to speak in N. Y. that day and the remainder of the week. Express to your comrades my regrets.” In very good condition, with scattered soiling, pencil remnants to top border, small hole to first line of text, and partial separations along horizontal folds.
