‘Silent Cal’ plays hooky

TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead, December 31, 1929. Letter to Thomas Cochran, a partner in J. P. Morgan & Company, arranging a lunch. In full: “I expect to be in the Bankers Trust Company, Friday, and see no reason why I could not lunch with you on that day if agreeable to you. I suppose Mr. Prosser would be willing to excuse me from his lunch.” Accompanied by an unsigned carbon letter sent to Coolidge two weeks earlier regarding financial arrangements. In fine condition, with intersecting mailing folds, one through a single letter of signature, and a few light wrinkles. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
