Vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 photo of Hersholt relaxing in a parlor chair with a pipe, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Peppino, With all the kindest wishes, Jean Hersholt 1941.” In very good condition, with horizontal tear to right edge, mild contrast to Hersholt’s light, but legible signature, creasing to each corner tip, and paper loss to lower left corner tip. Joseph "Peppino" Micoli was the owner of Peppino's Restaurant on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
