Polish-born American artist (1894–1951) best known for his works on Jewish subjects and his anti-Axis illustrations and caricatures during World War II. Collection of six personal checks, all 8.5 x 3.25, each filled out and signed by Szyk, ranging in date from 1943-1946, with two checks made out to “Cash,” and both endorsed by Szyk. In very good condition, with vertical folds, expected stamps and holes, pencil notations, and bank stamps lightly affecting a couple signatures. RRAuction COA.
