In full: “So that I don’t be anymore of a pest than possible—will you leave word with the young lady what time I could come tomorrow and pick up the rest of the life preservers—and I will phone her in about an hour from now. I will be away shooting after one o’clock tomorrow.” Barrymore adds a nice sketch of a large boat, life preserver, and shore line under his letter. Letter also bears a stamped office notation, dated June 17, 1932. In fine condition, with aforementioned stamp, light pencil notation, and punch holes to top edge.
