Vintage fountain pen signature, “Good luck always, Thelonius Monk,” on an off-white 6 x 4 album page, with a small photo affixed to bottom of page and a collector’s notation indicating signature was acquired in Hamburg, Germany in 1964. Page is contained in a leather autograph album containing 36 other signatures including: Count Basie, Jimmy Rushing, David Oistrach, John Barbirolli, Elizabeth Steiner, Heinz Reincke, Juliette Greco, Freddy Quinn, Will Quadflieg, Helmut Lohner, Curt Bois, Heinz Hoppe, Hans Clarin, Melitta Muszely, Ernest Ansermet, Richard Munch, Inge Meysel, John Olden, Elisabeth Flickenschildt, Heidelinde Weis, Hannelore Schroth, Agnes Fink, Jurgen Goslar, Norbert Schultze, Topsy Kuppers, Watraut Haas, Van Cliburn, Alec Guinness, and George Peppard.
