Catalyst for the “Go-Go” White Sox of the 1950s, 12-time All-Star Nellie Fox (1927–1975) led the White Sox to their first World Series in 40 years in 1959 and was named American League MVP. Bank check, 6.25 x 2.75, partially filled out and signed by Fox, “Nelson Fox,” payable to the National Bank of Chambersburg for $202.00, February 19, 1963.
