Description

A fascinating look into President Obama’s thought process

Unsigned hand-notated speech, with 27 words in Obama’s hand, six pages, 8.5 x 11. Speech is entitled, “Remarks of Senator Obama, Southern New Hampshire University Commencement, Manchester, New Hampshire, Saturday, May 19, 2007.” Obama has made pencil notations to three of the six pages. On the first page, Obama writes “for my first law degree,” near the top, and at the bottom, “How we put off hard choices.” A majority of the notations appear on page five, which read, “Substance. -Health care, -Energy/climate change,-Restoring our standing in the world-Darfur.” In very fine condition, with three binder holes to left edges. Uncommon handwritten speech notes from a sitting president offers exciting insight into how a master orator captivates his audience. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
