Swiss painter and sculptor (1925-1991). He is best known for his sculptural machines or kinetic art, in the Dada tradition. Interesting and vibrant colored ink artwork, highlighted with several stickers and a feather, on an off-white 11.5 x 8.25 card, signed and inscribed at the bottom to the art historian Siegfried Salzmann (1928–1993) “With my kind regards to Miss Salzmann,” signed “Dein Jean,” and dated May 2, 1979. In fine condition, with a central vertical fold, and a few light spots and brushes, seemingly intentionally done by Tinguely. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
