Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 17.5 x 13.75, December 10, 1907. Roosevelt appoints Sherman T. McPherson for a four-year term as Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio. Signed by Roosevelt at the conclusion and countersigned by Attorney General Charles J. Bonaparte. A square of vellum missing from each corner and heavy mounting along edges has been masked by tasteful folding of edges. In fine condition, with scattered light creasing, soiling, and toning and the last name of the signature a shade light. The red paper seal is intact.
