Vintage glossy 8 x 10 official U. S. Air Force photo of Yeager in his flight suit standing beside a plane, signed and inscribed in black ink, “To Bob Oppel, Best regards, Charles E. Yeager, Major, USAF,” with typed biographical sheet affixed to the reverse. In very good condition, with extensive crazing (affecting a few letters of the signature and touching Yeager’s face), scattered creasing and impressions, and light rippling from mounting remnants on reverse.
