Signed White House card, boldly signed in black ink, “Wm. H. Taft.” Nicely double matted and framed with a New York Times 14 x 11 silver gelatin photo of Taft throwing out the first pitch ever by a president at a Major League baseball game on April 14, 1910, where he threw the ball to Washington Senators player Walter Johnson, to an overall size of 17.25 19.5. In very good condition, with light overall toning, a few spots of trivial soiling, and a light fingerprint to closing of signature, quite possibly Taft’s. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
