Vintage matte-finish 9 x 13 photo (affixed to a 10.5 x 14 mount) of artist Joseph DeCamps’ 1908 full-length portrait of Roosevelt, signed in the lower border in fountain pen by Roosevelt. Printing along bottom of image reads, “Copyright 1909 by Joseph DeCamp.” Photo also bears DeCamp’s signature and a date of 1908, inherent to the original work and reproduced in the photo. Matted and framed to an overall size of 19 x 22.5. The original work by DeCamp was presented to Harvard University by the Class of 1880 and hung in Memorial Hall. In very good condition, with strip of moderate toning over signature, two vertical creases to top edge of image and mount, a few small surface and edge chips, and light soiling to upper right of mount.
