Description

Charles Schulz

Fantastic original signed ink sketch of Snoopy and Woodstock on the golf course on the reverse of a partial piece of artist’s cardstock, blocked out for a Peanut’s daily strip, measuring 8 x 9.25. The speech bubble reads, “Go ask Nathaniel if we’re playing mulligans.” Signed in the lower right of the image, “Schulz.” Accompanied by a program for the 1979 38th Bing Crosby National Pro-Am Tournament, for which the sketch was created, and featured on page 11. In fine condition, with faint toning to right edge and pencil notations to lower border. The Nathaniel referred to in the sketch is Crosby’s son, who was participating in the tournament with his father. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
