Color vintage glossy 2.5 x 3.25 candid photo of Monroe in a fur coat and elegant dress, signed in blue ink. Provenance written on reverse by the original recipient reads, in part: “This is the lovely…singer and dancer and famous film star Marilyn Monroe who died suddenly August 1962. This lovely photo was taken at Hotel Lobby at the Gladstone Hotel before being torn down in the year 1954-1955.” In very good condition, with very poor contrast to the light signature, some scattered light surface marks, and lightly clipped edges and corners.
