Early Polk document

Partly-printed DS, one page, 8 x 10, March 11, 1841. Tennessee governor Polk appoints a Justice of the Peace in Greene County, Tennessee. Boldly signed at the conclusion by Polk, and countersigned by his Secretary of State. In very good condition, with toning along horizontal folds, one horizontal fold bisecting portion of signature, trimmed left edge, and some small fold separations. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
