In part: “I will attend to all you say about the proof of Elizabeth & see how it may be made much more effective but the head is charming which [is] a great matter. I enclose a letter from Sir Armstrong who as you see consents to lending Chill October…have been very lucky so far…about Elizabeth…I will make it all right.” Millais is more than likely discussing his 1879 work The Princess Elizabeth.
