Original eight-panel 22 x 15 stat proof used to make the January 11, 1980, Peanuts Sunday comic strip: this is the actual print that was photomechanically reproduced to produce the strip that would appear in newspapers worldwide. Depicting Snoopy explaining to Woodstock who just flew into a window, it has been signed and inscribed in the title panel in black felt tip to a newspaper editor, “To Arnold—Charles M. Schulz.” Framed to an overall size of 23.5 x 15.5. Signature and inscription a couple shades light, but legible, tack holes to each corner, and a few scattered light creases and spots, otherwise fine condition. A wonderful piece of Peanuts memorabilia! RRAuction COA.
